For the Android application Masquerade Jewels
(package com.solarharbortntekh.jewapp).
Effective 12 August 2026. Last updated 12 August 2026.
1. Who we are
Masquerade Jewels is published by INTEKHPOSTACH TOV, trading as SolarHarbor, a company registered in Ukraine at Bud. 58 vul. Akademika Zabolotnoho, Odesa 65123, Ukraine. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" mean that company, and "the app" means Masquerade Jewels.
For any question about this policy or about your data, write to tonikoral55@gmail.com.
2. The short version
The app does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. It has no user accounts, no servers, no advertising and no analytics. Everything you enter stays in the app's private storage on your device, and it is deleted when you delete it or uninstall the app.
3. Information the app stores on your device
To do its job, the app saves the records you choose to create. These are stored only on your device, in a database and a photo folder that belong to the app and that other apps cannot read:
- Piece records — the name, category, metal, hallmark, stones, weight, size, maker, acquisition date, purchase price, valuation, certificate or receipt reference, storage location, insurance status and notes that you type in.
- Photographs — images you choose for a piece are copied, resized and saved inside the app's private storage.
- A single preference — the currency symbol shown next to amounts.
We never see any of this. It is not uploaded anywhere, because the app contains no code capable of sending it anywhere.
4. Information we collect
None. Specifically, the app does not collect or process:
- names, email addresses, phone numbers or any other contact details;
- location data of any kind;
- contacts, calendar entries, messages, call logs or your photo library as a whole;
- device identifiers, including the Google Advertising ID (the app does not declare the
AD_IDpermission); - usage statistics, crash reports, cookies or any other telemetry.
5. Permissions
The app declares no Android permissions. When you add a photograph, the app opens the Android system photo picker. The picker is part of the operating system, not part of the app; it returns the single image you select and gives the app no access to the rest of your gallery.
6. Third parties
The app contains no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics libraries, social network integrations or payment processors. Nothing in the app communicates with a third party.
Two things involve other parties, and both are outside the app itself:
- Google Play distributes the app and may collect its own data about downloads and installs under Google's privacy policy. That happens in the Play Store, not in the app.
- Sharing a schedule. If you tap Share, Android shows you a chooser and the text is handed to the app you pick — your email client, a messaging app, or whatever else you select. From that point the receiving app's own privacy policy applies. Nothing is shared unless you initiate it and choose a destination.
7. Backups
Android's own backup service may include the app's database and photographs in a device backup to your personal Google account, if you have that feature switched on. This is a function of the operating system and of your Google account settings, and the backup is controlled by you, not by us. You can disable it in your device settings under system backup.
8. Keeping and deleting your information
Your records stay on the device for as long as you keep them. You are in full control:
- deleting a piece removes its record and its photograph immediately;
- clearing the app's storage in Android settings removes everything at once;
- uninstalling the app removes the database and every photograph it holds.
Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side and no request you need to send us to have it erased.
9. Your rights
Data protection law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection", gives you rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over personal data held by a company. Those rights are directed at data controllers who hold your data. We do not hold any data about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or transfer — your records are already exclusively in your own hands. You are welcome to contact us if you would like this confirmed in writing.
10. Children
The app is a record-keeping tool intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included, because the app collects no personal information at all.
11. Security
Your records are held in the app's private storage area, which Android isolates from other applications. Because nothing is transmitted, there is no data in transit to intercept and no server of ours that could be breached. The security of the device itself — a screen lock, full-disk encryption, keeping the operating system updated — remains the best protection for the information you store, and we recommend all three.
12. A note on valuations
Values and calculations shown in the app are based on figures you enter yourself. They are your own records, useful for insurance conversations and for keeping track of a collection, but they are not a professional appraisal and we make no representation as to their accuracy.
13. Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will publish a revised version on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play. Continuing to use the app after a revision means you accept the updated policy.
